Patra Widya: Seri Penerbitan Penelitian Sejarah dan Budaya is an accredited national journal based on the Ministry of Research, Techonology, and Higher Education, the Republic of Indonesia (RISTEK DIKTI) Decree No. 21/E/KPT/2018, with the ISSN 2598-4209 (online) and 1411-5239 (print). Patra Widya publishes articles of research, book reviews, and opinions. The Patra Widya appears in a dark gray cover with a papyrus manuscript. The Patra Widya Journal is published three times a year in April, August and December. The study of the Patra Widya Journal article is on the family of history and culture. The Patra Widya name came from a combination of two words "patra" and "widya", derived from Sanskrit, and became an absorption word in Old Javanese. the word "patra" is derived from the word "pattra", from the root of the term pat = float, which is then interpreted by the wings of birds; fur, leaves; flower leaf; fragrant plants fragrant; leaves used for writing; letter; document; thin metal or gold leaf. The word "widya" comes from the word "vidya", from the root vid = know, which then means "science". Patrawidya is defined as "a sheet containing science".
Pengumuman Penundaan Penerbitan
Sehubungan adanya reorganisasi Satuan Kerja Balai Pelestarian Nilai Budaya D.I.Yogyakarta menjadi Balai Pelestarian Kebudayaan Wilayah X, maka publikasi jurnal Patrawidya yang telah dijadwalkan tidak dapat hadir tepat waktu (Volume 24, tahun 2022). Hal tersebut berkaitan dengan masa transisi dan penyesuaian organisasi Balai Pelestarian Kebudayaan Wilayah X, khususnya terkait kebijakan publikasi jurnal Patrawidya. Kami mohon maaf atas ketidaknyamanan karena penundaan publikasi kali ini.
